Getting the Word out.

The Center for Migration Studies is a think tank founded by the Scalabrinian Missionaries. They’ve become well known for their immigration news and policy papers and research journals. When their long time media coordinator took a new job, I was able to (virtually) step in without missing a beat and made sure that their 25000+ subscribers received newsletters, policy papers, email blasts and webinars. I keep their website fresh and got the word out for their event in DC with the Jesuit Refugee Services.

Immigration policy is probably one of the most important issues of our lives that calls on us to put into practice the social teachings that Jesus taught us through His actions and ministry. My role of making sure this critical information reaches as many people as possible is what makes me love my work.
